As a photographer, it's my job to find whatever is beautiful inside that person and feature it in a respectful way. Some of these people were professional models when we shot these, but most were just ordinary folk like you or me. Actually, they're probably more like you, because I look awful in front of the camera. That's why I'm on the other side.

Fetish Events

There's nothing quite like a fetish event. People squeeze into their finest and shiniest garb to play the night away under brightly colored lights. This kind of eye candy is a photographer's wet dream, so everyone wants to bring their cameras in. However, only a few are permitted for reasons of discretion. I've been shooting the clubs for about 8 years now, be it fashion shows, freaky performances, or the couple next door all out shaking it in lingerie, leather, or latex.

Photographically, they're usually a blend of reportage, candid, and a fair amount of, what we call "grip and grin." (May I take your picture? Thanks.) Big fun for everyone, as you'll see inside.

Sex sells. This is a good thing, as it gives guys like me something we look forward to shooting. Where I'm usually working to showcase what's beautiful in someone, here I've the added task of bringing what's sexy to the fore as well. It's a dirty job, but I'm the man to do it.

Here we walk the fine line between erotica and porn. I've no problem with porn and I've even shot some, but these particular photos are an attempt at arousing the mind first. As before, most of these people are not professional models. However, they're definitely people who've embraced their sexuality and aren't afraid to show it to the world. My hat's off the them all. Of course, they've removed more than their hats, but that's another issue entirely.
